Can I get a utility bill in my name?
Yes! We can help you get a utility bill in your name or your business name with our TruLease plan! TruLease helps you rent an office suite in an office building that would provide you with a physical address backed by a lease agreement.
Our custom utility service will help you install a landline phone or internet service in the building where your office is located. This will be done through a major utility service provider, which will produce a bill in your name or your business name.
How long does it take to get a custom utility bill?
It usually takes around 1-2 weeks to get your first utility bill. This accounts for the time it takes to order, schedule installation, and wait for the first bill to be produced and sent to you.
How much does this service cost?
Installation fees, contract terms, and monthly costs are all determined by the utility company. For this reason, we are unable to provide an exact quote for the custom utility bill as this would vary depending on the utility service available for the office, the pricing offered, and any promotions. We will help you shop around for the most economical options. But you can budget around $100 - $130 for the installation fee and $35 - $85 for the monthly maintenance fee.
VPM also charges a $200 VPM service fee for helping you order and install the utility service if you're under the TruLease Standard plan. This fee is covered by our $200 annual credit included in the TruLease Annual plan so you will pay $0 if you are on the annual plan. This fee is separate from any installation charges billed directly by the utility provider.
Do I pay you for the utility service or do I pay the service provider?
You would pay the service provider directly for the utility service. This is because the service is under your business name and therefore it's a service agreement between you and the service provider. You will receive bills in your name and you will pay the service provider.
The only involvement for us here is when we help you order and setup the utility service and to cancel the utility service when you don't need it.
