Can I use VPM for Google Services (ie. Adsense, Google Business, Google Maps)?
Google does not allow users to utilize mailbox addresses such as ours for:
- Google Adsense
- Google My Business
- Google Maps
Google requires a physical address, and mailbox addresses are not considered true physical addresses. Physical addresses in the U.S. are required if you sign up for services that pay out money (ie. Google AdSense, YouTube, etc). This is because they use the address to determine your primary country that your account is linked to. They use it as a way to determine which country's law applies to your account and which currency is used to pay you. Please refer to their terms and conditions:
Google Business Profile is strict on verifying businesses with physical business addresses. If you are planning to use the mailbox for these purposes, you will likely not succeed as they require additional verification documents to be produced for listing purposes. Verification documents cannot be produced for mailbox addresses.
Google My Business requires that you service walk-in traffic. Specifically, their terms state that "to qualify for a Business Profile on Google, a business must make in-person contact with customers during its stated hours." In addition, they also specifically mention "Brands, organizations, artists, and other online-only businesses aren't eligible for Business Profiles." Google My Business is linked to Google Maps.
If you are wondering if you can sign-up to our TruLease Plan to obtain a physical address and receive payouts, the answer is yes. TruLease will work for this purpose. But, if you are looking to use the TruLease leased address to setup a My Business profile, we do not recommend it as this violates Google's terms of service.
