What is Form 1583, and is it necessary?

As a registered commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA), we are legally required by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to provide and retain copies of your Form 1583. This form needs to be notarized and sent to us either via postal mail, email, or fax.

Until you get the form to us, you will only be able to use the service to receive mail.  You will not be able to process your mail.

Once mail is received, the item is stored for 60 days per our storage policy even if you have yet to send us your form. Hence, it's very important that you send us your notarized Form 1583 once you mail starts to arrive at your mailbox address so you can have them processed for scanning or shipping before they expire.
